But in recent years what Intel least lacks is a gorgeous roadmap deck; what it most lacks is on-time, yield-worthy volume. Whether it can actually drop the word "risk" and put chips reliably in customers' hands is its only chip to steal meat from TSMC's mouth. In leading-edge fabs, everyone can draw the pie — few can put it on the table.
